Biological activity: Epiandrosterone (3 β- Androsterone (EpiA) is a steroid hormone with weak androgen activity and is a natural metabolite of DHEA.

Chemical property: acicular crystal (chloroform/hexane). m.p.176-177.5℃（174-175℃，161-162℃）。 [ α] 20/D+44.4 (C0.27 chloroform). It smells musky when heated.
