Biological activity: Isoquercetin (Quercetin 3-glucoside) is a naturally occurring polyphenol with antioxidant, anti-proliferative and anti-inflammatory properties. Isoquercetin alleviates alcohol-induced hepatotoxicity, oxidative k stress and inflammatory reaction through Nrf2/ARE antioxidant signal transduction pathway. Isoquercetin regulates nuclear factors- κ B(NF- κ B) Transcription regulation system regulates the expression of nitric oxide synthase 2 (NO2). Isoquercetin has high bioavailability and low toxicity, and is a promising candidate drug to prevent diabetes pregnancy birth defects.
