Biological activity: Punicalagin is a polyphenol component isolated from the leaves of pomegranate (Punicagranatum L.) or Terminalia catappa L. Punicalagin is an anti-hepatitis B virus (HBV) drug with antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and anticancer effects.

Chemical properties: white crystalline powder, soluble in methanol, ethanol, DMSO and other organic solvents, derived from Punica granatum Linn.

Purpose: Pomegranate has anti-inflammatory, analgesic, hypnotic, anticonvulsive, anticancer and antioxidant effects.
