Biological activity: Harmine (Telepathine) belongs to β- A fluorescent harmala alkaloid of carbaline family compounds is a competitive inhibitor of DYRK1A kinase pocket binding ATP with high cell permeability, and the IC50 value of DYRK2 binding is about 60 times higher. Harmine can also inhibit monoamine oxidases (MAOs) and cdc-like kinases (CLKs). The Ki value of Harmine inhibiting 5-HT2Aserotoninreceptor is 397nM.
